The magical hills of Buda on Segway

See some of the finest UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Budapest, gathered in the Buda Castle District on top of the 60-meter Castle Hill. We start the tour on the newer Pest side, then ride smoothly across the Danube to the oldest part of the city over Elisabeth Bridge, also known as the White Bridge. Along the way you will see a wide panorama of the Hungarian capital spread out on both banks of the river. On the old Buda side you will find buildings and monuments in many architectural styles: late 14th-century Gothic, elegant Renaissance and grand Baroque, much of it restored at the end of the 19th century. You will also see how the different parts of the castle came together, built step by step by kings of different eras, and visit the coronation church of the Hungarian kings. Learn about the history of royal Hungary while you enjoy the fresh air on a Segway ride through the center of Budapest.

Conquer Castle on Segway

Our trip will begin with elegant and bright Elisabeth Bridge, named after the beloved Queen of Hungary Elisabeth (Sisi). Riding along the bridge on a Segway, you can easily cross the Danube admiring great panoramic views of the two “halves” of the city. Then we will go up to the Fisherman’s Bastion on top of Castle Hill, with wide views over the city. Next to the Fisherman’s Bastion, you will discover the gorgeous Matthias Church, also known as Coronation Church of Buda, and find a great viewpoint overlooking the city and the Danube embankment. We will continue our Segway journey in the center of Buda Castle, one of the main architectural landmarks of Budapest. After a smooth ride down to the foot of the hill, we will visit the statue of Queen Elisabeth, surrounded by a small cozy park, and catch some breeze on our way back to the office.
