We will ride along the magnificent Elisabeth Bridge to the Buda side of the city and go up Gellert Hill by a thorny but fascinating path. There we will visit the Garden of Philosophy, a very quiet and cozy place where you can rest and think about the eternal. The sculptures in this garden contribute to the immersion of a person in himself and inspire philosophical reflections on the meaning of life, space, etc. At the top of the hill we will see the Monument of St. Gerard, the Citadella and the majestic Liberty Statue, as well as admire the mesmerizing panorama of Budapest from a bird’s eye view and take many beautiful photos. We had a great trip with a great guide. He came into work to cover sickness so we didn’t miss out. Went to the main tourist sites and he had great knowledge of all the sites. Also showed us where other interesting sites were that we couldn’t reach. Took great photos for us too. Would recommmend

Easy way uphill

Starting our Segway journey along the central streets we will ride through Elisabeth Bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges in Budapest. On the western bank of the Danube we will find a small cozy park with a bronze statue of Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria, greatly loved by the Hungarian people. From here begins a winding path to the highest point of the city – 235 meters high Gellert Hill. On the way up we will visit the Garden of Philosophy to feel its atmosphere of reflection on the eternal. On the very top we will discover the Citadella and the observation deck from where the whole city of Budapest and the proud Liberty Statue are seen. While going downhill we will pass by the Gellert Baths and the Gellert Hill Cave, which served as a chapel in the middle of the 20th century, and return to the office with a pleasant breeze along the promenade.
