Segway tours and rent FAQ

There are no age restrictions to ride a Segway in Budapest. But the weight of the rider should be more than 30 kg.
The minimum age to ride an e-bike is 10 years. Please note we have e-bikes with low seat so it would not be a problem for a kid to ride.

For a full refund you can cancel pre-booked tour at least 48 hours in advance of the start time, via email or phone. After that cancellations will not be accepted. We trust our customers to show up for their scheduled tours. In case of light rain we provide raincoats. In case of hard rain tour could be re-scheduled or cancelled upon your request.
We will provide full details of Cancellation policy for groups 10+ pax and corporate events upon your request.

Segway PT is a personal transporter, by the local Hungarian regulations it is like a bicycle.
Using electric scooters up to 300 Watt with a maximum speed up to 25 km/h we going in a bicycle transport category too.
You need not driver’s license to ride.

The safety of your unborn child is our priority, therefore pregnant women are not allowed on Segway tours. If you are professional in bike or kick-scooter riding we can offer you some of those to join any of our tours on one of those vehicles.

We have enough resources to provide a tour for you. It could happen sometimes that all the guides are on tour but someone just show-up and wants to go on tour right now… It is highly recommended to book in advance in order to avoid any disappointment.

Payment to be made in our office on the day of the tour. You can pay in cash (HUF, EUR, USD) or by card.
If you prefer to pay in advance by a bank transfer, we will issue an invoice upon your request. Alternatively, you can pay by PayPal or by a credit card via PayPal.

All our tour guides speak English. They are trained to speak English slowly and articulate well with customers who are not native in English. We have German-speaking, Russian-speaking and Jewish-speaking guides in our team too, so booking in advance is highly recommended. We also have several freelance guides speaking other languages (French, Ukrainian, etc.) but they are not always available. Please let us know your language preference in the Add Comment field during the booking process and we will check for the other languages available ASAP.

While booking a tour you can choose an option of a Private tour, or a Place in a mini-group. In case of a mini-group other people could be joining you on the tour, but not more than 6 people total.
If you choose Private tour option than the tour will be completely private. There will be only you (your party) and a tour guide. We will not merge different groups in this case.
